About Us

Our Objective:  Through fellowship we enrich the lives of people in Tuolumne County and Calaveras County.

  • The Newcomer’s Club of Tuolumne County is a social organization whose purpose is to assist residents in Tuolumne and Calaveras Counties in meeting people and becoming part of the community. Anyone can join the club who is over 18.
  • Dinner meetings are held monthly with a social hour, dinner, and a speaker with subjects of wide interest to the membership. An exception to this is that in June, July, August and September we have picnic potlucks instead.
  • We learn about Tuolumne County and the activities and resources available.
  • We participate in social activities throughout the year for all members such as picnics, card games, dining groups, wine tasting, golf, crafts, and theater outings.  Other special interest groups are continually being created.

Those eligible for membership shall be over the age of 18 and reside in Tuolumne or Calaveras County.  The club is open to anyone interested – no time limits required for residing in the community. Annual dues are $60.00 per couple and $30.00 for singles. Should you join after July 1st, dues are half the yearly amount.
